Net4Dev offers services that build on 15 years of ICT4D expertise in policy, practice and research. Net4Dev is specialized in qualitative advisory services, from policy making at international and national levels to empirically grounded research at the community level. Complementary services can be offered through a transnational network of experts.

 

Policy Advice

Analysis of and advice on sectoral, organizational and national policies on ICT4D, including mechanisms for multistake-holder consultation, cross-sector linkages and viable partnerships.

 

Strategy Formulation

Advice on sectoral, organizational and national strategies on ICT4D, following a holistic and participatory approach and with an emphasis on cross-sector linkages and synergies. Strategic, needs-based integration of ICT in poverty reduction and development strategies.

 

Needs Assessments/Feasibility Studies

Analysis of information and communication needs that can be improved through the use

of ICT, taking into account existing cognitive and communicative practices.

Identification of strategic areas and suitable methods for ICT integration.

 

Monitoring and Evaluation

Review and analysis of experiences, results and lessons learned of ICT 4D projects/programs. Identification of suitable measures to improve implementation and development of indicators to measure progress. Experience of LFA and RBM frameworks.

 

Video Production

Production of videos, including conceptualization, filming, editing and post-production. Specialized in documentary films and ethnograhic films.

 

Research

Qualitative research on ICT for development related topics, at local, national, and global

levels. Participatory action-research and ethnographic fieldwork methods in combination

with digital, visual and sensory research methods.
